removal of negative feedback
Hello eBay Community -- an eBayer recently gave me a negative feedback for an item that they didn't purchase from me, but mistakenly used an item listing of something they had purchased from me. Specifically, they bought an antique pipe from me but referenced their disappointment with an old photo they had purchased that arrived with curled edges. I didn't sell them the photo. Anyway, how do I get that negative removed by eBay? The buyer hasn't seen or has ignored my request for revision and now the timeframe has passed for them to fix it. I have always had 100% positive feedback with 2,000+ items sold and this negative has me at 99.5% which is undeserved. Thank you for any insights.

If you go to your Seller Hub or Help and Contact on eBay, you can submit a request for feedback removal.
Keep it short and to the point. Such as "Buyer left a negative for another Seller's item. I sold him a vintage pipe, not a photo".
That's really all you need to say. Best of luck.
