Removal of listing

Question

I had a listing for preowned girls clothing. Just shirts, jeans and a sweatshirt and rain boots. It was removed saying that underwear and socks are not allowed. I did not have underwear or socks and everything was clean no stains etc. I do not understand this.

Hi @trouble10031968 I assume you read through the eBay Help pages on selling Used clothing and their policy? If not the link is below. Something triggered the eBay bots to pick off your listing.

While I have no clue what might have caused the issue they do require a statement that the items have been properly cleaned. Also, you have "boots" in with clothing which I assume footwear might be a different category. "Sweatshirt" ... hmmm the word "sweat" is in there, not sure about that either ... maybe "hoody" instead.

Anyway, the advice would be NOT to try and Relist the exact mix you had before ... you may want to start by listing items individually like:

-Jeans

-Shirts

-Rain boots

-Hoody (or try sweatshirt to see if eBay accepts that)
