I do not want to receive offer messages & have changed my communication preferences to noavail.If I want something I will bid,it is a pain to have these clogging up my inbox until I delete them.

I checked my communication settings again & made sure to save it.

Did you edit your My eBay: Account: Communication Preferences: Buyer recently? Sometimes the settings get reset on their own. Also did you click the Save button way down at the bottom of the list?

You have the ability to control the types of emails you get from your Site Preferences. Go there and review your settings. You can turn off what you don't want and on what you do. You are in control of this.
