Releasing a hold on payment when seller's item has been delivered
I have two items I sold that were delivered over a week ago, yet eBay still has those marked as Shipped and not Delivered, thereby holding my funds. I have verified tracking info is correct. Both were UPS labels generated from eBay that were transferred to the local USPS and delivered. I've tried to find a way to open a case to get those funds released but the online assistant is a joke. I've tried to have them call me and removed any spam blockers etc, but they say they have called via email but that I was not reachable (no record of their call). How can I get in contact with them or open a case to dispute the tracking of my sold items so I can get funds? They make it impossible to contact them or open a case. Thanks in advance for any tips!

Infrequent sellers should expect that eBay can hold payments for up to thirty days.

Lack of tracking showing delivery will only be a problem if the buyer complains, though the payment may take a bit longer than if tracking showed delivery.

OP8 months agoI get it....I don't sell a lot. But I sold 11 items around the same day and the 9 items that showed delivered I received payment on immediately. However, these two items I have not received payment on still show a shipped status, not a delivered status, even though they were delivered over a week ago. So the issue is the hold is still in place because the items are not flagged as delivered on eBay's seller site. How do I report that these in fact were delivered so that the 3 or so day hold to release funds is triggered?

File a missing Mail Piece with USPS if you shipped that way. That may help get the tracking information updated to a delivered status.
