Reimbursing eBay after receiving a refund on a missing item.
The initial delivery date was 11/13-17/2023. After waiting 2-weeks, I filed for and received a refund from eBay. Today, 1/2/2024, the item arrived, 6-weeks after it was supposed to have been delivered. How do I refund eBay for the reimbursement?

OP2 years agoHello, yes, I've been in contact with the seller. He confirmed he had paid for the refund and I am in the process of getting him his refund returned. Thank you for your response and information.

Mentor2 years agoThe refund came from the seller and not eBay. You cannot refund eBay as the case is closed and eBay has nothing more to do with the item. You would need to contact the seller to make arrangements to refund them.

OP2 years agoThank you. I did not know the seller actually refunded the purchase. Reading the eBay refund policy, it appeared to me that eBay, after me contacting the seller, made the reimbursement not the seller. I have already contacted the seller asking his advice on how to proceed with eBay. Hopefully, after he responds, I can make the refund back to him and the matter will be closed. The item was delivered 6-weeks after the estimated date. Again, thanks for the information.
