Reimbursement process for eBay standard envelope not arriving (for Seller)?
How does the Seller start reimbursement claim for an item shipped using eBay standard envelope? Its supposed to be protected for up to $20 so I do not want to process full refund to Buyer until I am first holding the refund from USPS or eBay? Item was properly packaged, shipped very quickly on-time, and has since sat in the same Tracking Location for 10-days with no update from USPS. Now buyer wants to report item not arrived and full refund, but as the Seller I proved that I did everything I was supposed to do. Does buyer or seller file the reimbursement claim with USPS for refund on lost / missing item?

Mentor7 months agoThe ebay standard envelopes are "read" by the scanners at the sorting machines, so make sure the size and thickness meet the requirements. Then they are sent to your local post office for final delivery. That is why they show as DELIVERED several days before actually being delivered to the buyer.
If you have to refund the buyer for an Item Not Delivered case, you can get reimbursed here:
