Reimbursement for the Seller for Lost packages
I insure all my expensive items, on all venues as a seller. I see that on eBay I can only insure for the value/amount that the Buyer Lost. My shipping cost that I have to reimburse And the value of the item I lost as well, via eBay's contract with carriers, is ALL Gone...Poof, in a Puff of smoke. I can only insure, on eBay for the amount that The Buyer spent for the sale which does NOT include what they paid for shipping, that I Have to Reimburse or the reimbursement for the value of the item that I lost also. Is this correct? As if I Controlled the postal services and their employees??? If a package is lost through an eBay sale the Seller is screwed? Am I understanding this correctly. Because it wouldn't let me insure a package for more that the Sale Cost. Is This Correct?
