Reimburse buyer for return shipping
Hi,
I can't figure out how to reimburse the buyer for return shipping. They returned the item and have been refunded, but how do I reimburse the buyer for return shipping?

Mentor2 years agoIf the buyer did not file a Returns Request using ebay, you would have to reimburse the return shipping using Paypal. Ask the buyer for his/her Paypal email address and you can use the SEND MONEY option in Paypal.
In the future, this is how a return is handled:
The easiest way is to have the buyer go to his/her Purchase history, locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. S/he will need to click on More to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. The buyer prints out the label, affixes it to the box, and has the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund the buyer within 2 days. If no refund, the buyer goes back to the case and clicks on Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.

The buyer asked for the refund through eBay and they approved it. She shipped it back using her own funds. I refunded her as soon as I received the item. Based on the circumstance I am willing to reimburse her the return shipping. I can’t see a way to do that.
