Registering as Seller
Good Evening,
It has been many years since I last sold on eBay. I did so many years on an account that is not active anymore, I have created a new personal account to sell some items, I have added my credit card to my account. What I cannot find is the way to link my bank account to the account so that I will be set up to accept a payment. I have gone through the help links and they take me back to pages that do not help.
Is there a way to get help on how I can either register as a seller, and add my bank account, or do I need to actually click on the sell and items and go through the whole posting links, will that lead me to this option?
Things have changed so much since the many years ago I sold items on here that I cannot figure this out

You need to create your first listing directly on eBay to get your account set up.
Complete these steps in this order.
a) Draft a listing on eBay, click submit or "list it". The system should guide you through setup. If not, follow these steps:
b) Verify/update/complete your Profile Registration: Name, address, phone number, identity information (profile) on your eBay Account: https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile
-- Use a Street Address, even if you don’t get mail there.
-- Make sure to use your full legal name and that it matches your bank account.
c) And add a Checking Account and Credit/Debit Card: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list
Please check to see if you have BOTH a Checking account marked for "Used for payouts" and a credit/debit card. One of these (bank account or card) needs to be marked for "Preferred for selling costs"
TIP: Buyers pay by eBay "Managed Payments". eBay processes all the payments; they accept credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. The buyer pays eBay by various methods, and eBay sends the money to you by a deposit to your Bank Checking Account.
You only need to register for eBay Managed Payments and eBay does the rest.

OP1 year agoThank you very much for this information, when I go to payments I can add my credit card which I did first as clicking on the checkout, then when I click to add another form as an auction it only gives me the options of Credit Card, Paypal, Vemo.
There are no options that I can see where it will allow me to enter in my bank account information.
What am I missing?

You can't add a payout account (bank account) until you list your first listing.
As you finish your first listing, you will be guided to add your checking account.
Until the first item is listed, you can't access those fields.
