Register as a Not for Profit Business Seller

Question

We are a Friends of the Library group who wishes to sell as a non-profit business. I created a business account, added bank info, phone, address. But could not find where to upload non-profit docs.

Support said I need to list an item to trigger the upload of all of the required supporting documentation. Is this true? Are there any other surprises I need to be aware of? Thanks!

I would not try to list something until your charity account has been verified.

You could email the eBay Charity team

Charityteam@ebay.com

It might take time for them to respond.

Yes I saw all of this. It is general, and the link about the steps to take is broken. Unclear on where and how to upload non-profit documents. When I asked, they said try listing our first item which will trigger a request for more information. Is this true, in your experience?

My day job is selling on eBay for a nonprofit museum. When applying to sell on eBay as a Direct Seller for your group, the regulations are very complex and requires patience. Here is a link to the eBay for Charity page.
