Regarding Sellers that Cancel Orders
I think that it is unfair that a seller can wait until an auction is over and then decide to tell the buyer that the item has been sold when they had 12 hours prior to the sale ending to counsel the sale. EBay requires that a buyer pay for an item when the auction is over and yet they will allow a seller to cancel a sell without penalty. This is unfair to the buyer. The seller should be limited to per sales a month when this happens or revoke their selling privilage.

Mentor2 years agoIf the seller cancels as "out of stock" or "lost or damaged", the seller receives a costly defect to the seller's account.
If the seller cancels for an inappropriate reason -- such as "at buyer's request" or "problem with buyer's address" -- then the seller can be reported to eBay:
