Refurbished Phone IMEI Blacklisted by EBay Seller
I bought an iPhone 13 Pro eleven months ago from a seller on eBay. A couple of weeks ago, I was no longer able to get any cell service. After hours of conversations with my cell provider and Apple, it was determined my IMEI was blacklisted. I confirmed with my provider that it was not reported lost/stolen by me, the current owner of the device. I tried using the AllState Warranty, which is valid for a year, but it does not cover IMEIs that have been blacklisted. I messaged the seller, who is unwilling to do anything, and have resorted to contacting eBay to report the seller for selling stolen devices. The report was made over a week ago, and I haven't received any response. I'm unable to file any claim for a refund on the device or even leave a review on the seller's account to warn others that they are selling stolen devices. When I reported the listing as fraudulent for selling stolen goods, an AI from eBay rejected the claim almost immediately. Is there any other way I can get support from eBay to help hold the seller accountable?
