Refunds do not include tax amount why is that?
I chose to refund a buyer on a item that was discontinued and no longer had application support. I issued the refund and noticed after submitting it that tax was not included, why is that? This was my first ever refund and I now I have shorted the buyer .62 cents. Can this be corrected to give her a complete refund?

OP3 years agoSo are you telling me that when the buyer receives a refund it will include the tax? Should I have entered the complete dollar amount including tax rather then go with the amount displayed on the screen.

·3 years agoNo. I am saying the buyer receives TWO refunds. One for the funds from the seller (price plus s/h) and the other from eBay for the sales tax.

OP3 years agoThank you this is my first return and I want it to be right. Let me ask you another question about this. The item she purchased has been discontinued and there are lot's of them for sale how can I make these sellers aware so they don't have the same issues?
