Refunds and the liars that do not return money
Has anyone else bought something on ebay only to find out the the seller did not have the item and took payment anyway, wait months on responses from seller or ebay to be able to get your money back?

·3 years agoAs stated by @lady_madonna you should learn about the ebay money back guarantee and never let someone string you along for months.

·3 years agoIf you're waiting months, the MBG has probably expired and Ebay won't do anything to help.
When you don't receive an item by the estimated deliver date, the next day, open an Item Not Received case.
The seller will have 3 days to provide tracking that shows the item was delivered or refund and if they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in for your refund.
If you paid through Pay Pal, they give you 180 days to open a case or contact your credit card.

It does NOT take "months" to get your money back when you do not receive an item.
As soon as 1 day past the estimated date of delivery , you can file a Refund Request. Then if the seller does not respond, 3 days later you can have Ebay step in to help you.
