Refunds
I am trying to issue a partial refund to a buyer due to broken item. I do not see how to do this. The instructions to not match what I have. I do not see the “drop-down menu†on the item that the instructions refer to. Can someone help me?

Mentor3 years agoGo to your Orders list. There is a dropdown next to each transaction with options for things you can do. Select Send refund.

I am in the hospital and trying to do this on my iPhone, if that changes anything
I simply can not find an “Orders†list and I am not see drop-down menu on any list of my sold items.

Mentor3 years agoYou're not dense. 😊 The instructions I gave you were for refunding on a computer.
I don't use the app except for quick reference occasionally, but I did take a look to see if I could find a way to refund. I don't see a way, but I will tag one of the other mentors who I believe does use it to see if she knows if refunds can be issued that way.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I was out of the house most of the day today and just turned my computer on.
Neither of you are missing anything on the app as it has limited functions.
@ojohng636 Try using this link with your phones browser:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS Then locate the order and select send refund from the drop down menu next to the item. Next screen select the reason, enter amount and submit.

Mentor3 years ago@inceptions No problem. The app is really limited in functions I don't use it but have played around with it enough to know it's features.
The only thing I would recommend the app for over listing on a computer is books and dvds... you can scan the bar code and it starts the listing for you, very quick method of listing.
This may work for other items that have bar codes but I haven't tested it out.
