How can I undo a refund from a seller for a lost item that showed up after being lost in the postal system?

There’s no way to “undo†a refund on eBay once it’s issued, but if you’d like to repay the seller, you can message them and ask if they’d like to send you a PayPal or Venmo invoice.
Normally eBay doesn’t allow off-site payments to avoid fees, but in this case the transaction is already closed and the seller likely took a loss on shipping or return labels. Repaying them would be a kind gesture - totally up to you.
I’ve done this before, and the seller really appreciated it.
