Refunds
I put a refund dispute in on an item I purchased and did not receive and the seller messaged me asking if I could close the dispute so they can issue me a refund.
He claims it will not allow him to refund me without me closing the dispute through Ebay. It just seemed kinda odd and i was wondering if this was true or if they are trying to scam me

Don't close the case.
The seller can refund you now through the case, they won't have to refund if you close the case.
