Refunds
The seller sent me an email stating that the item I ordered a couple of days before had broken before he had a chance to send it. He offered to refund my money but said I was the one who had to initiate the process. I can't seem to negotiate a "starting" point for this process. It seems to me that the seller should be able to handle the refund 100% on his end without involving me at all. I've had a couple of other refunds over the years, and I never had to request anything. It seemed to be automatic. Am I missing something?

Mentor2 years ago@kevi-naugh Tell the seller that they need to cancel the sale as out of stock/ damaged. This starts the refund process.
The seller doesn't want to do this because they receive a defect on their account but this is the reason they should use.
If they lie and cancel using another reason be sure to use this form to report them>

The refund will come from the sellers back up payment method for selling costs, I use a credit card. The payment you made won't be released to the seller until AFTER the refund is issued to you.
