Refund/Return Help Customer Service links seem USELESS
Sold an item.
Carrier took 3 (!!!) Months to deliver, despite tracking showing it was at their facility for over 2 months.
Ebay forced me to refund (at the buyer's request). Okay, I get it.
3 months later, the tracking shows it FINALLY delivered.
The buyer isn't responding to any contact attempts.
How do I get my money back or my item returned to me?
Customer service just continually runs me in a circle.

Mentor2 weeks ago@nosefat You may be eligible for seller protection>>
If you ship on time, use an eBay shipping label, and refund the buyer when they ask ( without eBay forcing a refund) through a INR refund request then you should qualify for Seller Protection if the item finally arrives. See this notice>
https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/news/2025-september/inr-policy-updates
If the buyer files an INR case and tracking shows movement then you can ask eBay to give the item more time to arrive.
Contact customer service on social media using a PRIVATE message and ask for seller protection as stated in the link I shared> https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
6am to 6pm Pacific Time M-F
If that option does not work then I hope you have an honest buyer>
I would contact the buyer and say I see that your X finally arrived, I hope you are enjoying it. I would offer a small discount to encourage them to pay you back since part of your money is better than none.
You would have to make arrangements for the buyer to send you the payment via an electronic payment method such as Venmo, PayPal etc. This is not considered an offsite transaction since the sale already took place.
