Refund/Replacement
I purchased a Pink Floyd box set of 14 studio albums and received 2 copies of 7 albums rather than the original 14 albums. After contacting the seller about the issue, the seller looked into the issue and discovered that there was an issue with his supplier. The seller responded that they would send out a new box set and that they would give tracking information by Monday May 12th, but that did not happen. I have reported that issue to eBay for assistance and they closed the dispute almost immediately. I appealed and again, they closed the appeal. Can I call or receive a call from eBay?

Ebay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. A Buyer has 30 days from delivery to go on eBay and open an Item Not as Described refund request. The Seller then has three business days to respond with either a prepaid return label or a full refund.
Did you open a refund request on eBay on time?

OP1 year agoOriginal order was placed on 4/20/25 and the item was received 5/2/25. My last correspondence with the seller was on 5/8/25 when the seller stated, "HI,OK, I will resend the goods next Monday and send you the tracking number. Please be patient and thank you." The Monday in question was 5/12/25. I contacted eBay for help on 5/13/25 after the seller stopped responding to my messages.

If you want to return your purchase because it was not as shown in the listing, you will need to go to your Purchase History and open an Item Not as Described refund request. That is the only way you will be protected by eBay. You have only 30 days from 5/2/25 to do that.
It sounds like this Seller is trying to string you along until past the 30 day deadline. Once you open that request, he will have three business days to respond to you with either a prepaid return label or a full refund. If he does not respond on time, on the 4th day go back to your request and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
