Refunding of Original Shipping Cost On Returns
My return policy is set up for the buyer to pay for return shipping cost unless of course there is an issue that is of my fault. I recently had a return request for a buyer returning a pair of slippers because they didn't fit. I noticed that the buyer purchased a return label from eBay and promptly shipped the item back to me. When I went to issue the refund, there was no option for me to refund the original shipping. Could this be because the buyer purchased the return label from eBay? I ask this because I see that eBay states to the buyer that if they purchase a return label from eBay, then it will be deducted from their refund. I just wasn't sure if that meant now that the sellers shouldn't refund the original shipping if the buyer purchases a return label from eBay. As I stated above, it won't even give me the option to refund the original shipping.

Mentor5 months agoDoesn't fit is a buyer's remorse reason, so I don't believe you are responsible for refunding original shipping.
