Refunding international shipping costs to a buyer

I sold an item that arrived damaged to someone overseas. I easily refunded them for the US portion however they are still out the cost of the overseas shipping. How do they get that money back?

Your Buyer will need to open an Item Not as Described refund request on eBay. That usually requires at least one photo of the damage. Once they open that request, eBay will take it from there. Ebay will handle any return or refund. They need to open that request on eBay though to start the refund process.
