Refunding canceled order as a seller
Hello, I've been selling on ebay for twelve years now and this is a first for me. I canceled an order at the buyer's request and they haven't received their money yet. It's been over 24 hours. Usually refunds go through in less than a few hours.
The money has been subtracted from my balance but the buyer doesn't have it yet and the order says cancellation pending.
What are my options here?

Mentor1 week agoBuyer should have at least gotten notification of the cancelled transaction and refund. Then depending on the funding source buyer used it can be days or for say a credit card take a couple of weeks depending on the company's processing time.

OP1 week agoAccording to the buyer they haven't gotten an email saying it's been cancelled. Ebay said when the cancellation is processed I'll get an email and I haven't gotten one either. Like I said all other cancellations are processed almost immediately or within a few hours at best. This just seems strange to me
. I can't issue a direct refund either because the cancellation is still showing as pending. I just don't want him getting antsy thinking I won't refund him and he opens a case against me.
