Refunding a delivered but missing item
Return request on delivered item that buyer claims was picked up by someone else/ it was lost. What do I do? If I refund them then usps will deny my claim since it is delivered but the buyer has nothing to send back to be held accountable for getting their money back.

·1 year agoIf the item was scanned as delivered, you are not liable for the refund, though you can choose to do so. USPS will typically not pay out on claims for items marked as delivered but then stolen from the buyer's place of delivery, as it is on the buyer to provide a safe location for their mail/packages.
