Refunded Buyer before I Cancelled...YIKES
I refunded an order thinking it would cancel the order automatically, it did not. I can not cancel the order now because it says I issued a refund. How do I get the order cancelled? Don’t want it showing as not shipped.

Mentor2 years ago@ca42388 Go to the sold listing and select mark as shipped from the drop down menu next to the item. The buyer won't be able to file another refund request if you refunded 100%.

In the future if you need to cancel a sale and refund then select cancel from the drop down menu next to the sold item.

OP2 years agoOddly, it's gone. The buyer must have cancelled it, once they got the refund.
It would be nice if Ebay had a pop up warning if the refund is in full, you need to cancel first. Or allow us to cancel it after. The buyer can always open a case if needed and is always protected. I just forget because its extremely rare for me to cancel and refund.
