Refund to where if had to remove card used
I have two small items that I have returned and everything is good and all did as supposed to.
And I thru a money wrench in, I think, when I closed the credit card used because of fraud elsewhere!!!
I immediately reentered the replacement card number when I got the new replacement card in the mail.
I’m not sure if the refund, which hasn’t shown yet, would automatically go to the new card??

Mentor2 years agoRefunds go back to the original account the card was linked to.
As long as the new card is linked to the same account, the refund should find its way into the account where it can be spent using the new card.
If you closed the account entirely and opened a new account, contact your original bank to see how refunds to closed accounts are treated.
