refund option not available
i'm a seller and my buyer's item was lost in mail and now i'm having trouble refunding the buyer. Refund is not in the drop down menu. i've clicked on everything possible. this item was sent out September 2025 so it's old. i can click on the item but not refund option. customer service ai was not helpful

Mentor6 months ago@valkyrierose_27. It's not possible to refund a buyer through eBay after 90 days. Any refund would have to be made outside of the site with is problematic since you can't share contact information this far after a sale.
