Refund on taxes charged

Question

Was charged tax on multiple items that are tax exempt. Somehow spoke to a person and they filed a claim to remove the tax charge. I didnt receive any kind of notification and am just wondering how long does it take to get reimbursement?

In addition, if the item is tax exempt in your state, the item has to be listed in the correct category for that to happen. For instance, clothing is tax exempt in the state of Pennsylvania, but it has to be listed in a Clothing/Shoes/Accessories category. If a jacket, for instance, is listed in a Sporting Goods category, that item would be charged sales tax.

As far as I know, customer service can only request a review of the tax charged, not actually request a refund. A tax person has to determine if the tax was correct or not.

How long it takes the tax department to review the transaction is not something we can predict.
