Refund on Shipping costs.
I mailed an item to a buyer and received an email from eBay saying they were trying to refund me $2.01 because the package required less shipping costs from what I paid for the eBay shipping label. I don’t see how to accept the refund or where I event received a refund. I shipped through the post office. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Mentor4 months agoI don't understand why ebay would send you a message.
The buyer pays item price + shipping + sales tax. ebay will send you the item price + shipping. You can purchase the shipping label wherever you wish. If you use ebay shipping, you get a discount, and the tracking is automatically uploaded to the transaction.
So if it costs less to ship than the buyer paid, you keep the difference, or you can send a partial refund to the buyer.
