Refund on canceled shipping label

Question

I recently sold some items and had wrong detail for shipping. Mostly it was the wrong demension so shipping label was half the price it needed to be. I am trying to find out how long refund takes and where refund goes. I know this issue is determined by shipping company but not sure if for example USPS credits back ebay and then ebay credits back my account or how that works. It has been nearly 3 weeks and I cant see where my money spent went or even some sort of credit to use later.

You can void/ cancel the label within 28 days of purchasing it from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>
