Refund of item “not as described†still in manufacturer packaging
I have an item that was purchased directly in manufacturer’s packaging, unopened, described as is directly from the manufacturer itself. They are trying to return saying it’s not as described, when indeed it is. They also don’t speak/write in English. Do I have to pay for this shipping label back or pay them a refund when it’s clearly the correct item?

Yes, you have to pay return shipping and give the buyer a full refund when something is returned.

Mentor3 years agoSorry this happened, but if the buyer opened a return for an item that is not as described, you need to accept the return. When you do, the buyer will be sent a prepaid return shipping label. When the item comes back to you, you need to refund in full.
If you don't do these things, eBay will refund the buyer from your account, allow the buyer to keep the item, and award you with a defect on your seller record.
