refund. item received
buyer asked for refund saying ebay had wrong address listed. i sent refund thinking item would be returned to sender. tracking shows item was delivered in buyers mailbox. how do i get payment back

Mentor2 years agoIn the future, if this happens again, wait until the item comes back to you before you refund. If the buyer has moved, the new residents now have your item. They may use "Return to Sender" and you will get the item back. If the new residents keep the item, there is no way to force them to return it or pay for it. If the buyer files an Item Not Received case, you upload the tracking to show DELIVERED to the address supplied by the buyer. ebay will find in your favor. Buyers need to keep their SHIP TO address up to date.
