Refund issued but no rerurn requested from seller.

Question

I requested a return for a defective item. I received a message from eBay that the seller had failed to respond and a refund was issued, but there has been no request for the item to be returned. What do I do?

You will not need to ship the item back.

By not responding to the request, the seller did not provide a label for you to return it.

Once eBay refunds, the case is closed and the seller does not have claim on the item.

You can throw it away or donate it. If it is defective, it is probably of no use to you.
