Why would eBay close a return and refund the buyer before my item was sent back to me?

Why would eBay close a return and refund the buyer before my item was sent back to me?

Mentor5 months agoWhen the buyer filed the returns request, did you click to send the refund instead of accepting the return and issuing a return shipping label? If you accepted the return, and the buyer printed out the label, and then you refunded, ebay would then close the case.
