refund from USPS for damaged item with additional insurance paid

Question

I sent a statue that arrived broken. I submitted a claim with USPS.com and sent photo of breakdown of shipping charges I paid which listed liability added. No where on the breakdown does it show how much the extra liability was for so they only issued a $100 payout. I paid for $350 insurance. How do I prove to USPS that it was for that much?

Did you purchase the extra insurance from Shipcover or directly from USPS?

If it was Shipcover, you open a claim with them, not USPS.
