refund from seller complaint
I ordered a platter from a seller and it came shattered in multiple pieces. i contacted immediately the next day and sent them on their email, sent pictures, invoice..etc. it is now outside the return window and they are stating they will not refund me. very frustrated as now i am going through the ebay messaging system and they are acting like it is now possible to do anything.

Mentor5 months ago@emiolbric_0. It is not possible for a seller to refund you after 90 days from eBay even if they want to. Sellers have no way to send a refund after 90 days .
If there was a problem with the item when it arrived I am confused as to why you didn't file a return case sooner.

If you receive an item that does not match the description, file a "not as described" return within thirty days of receiving it and return the item at the seller's expense. The process is automated; if the seller does not cooperate at any point, ask eBay to step in after three business days but less than 21 business days from starting the case.

If you have waited too long to start the case or to ask eBay to step in, eBay cannot help you at that point.
You may still have recourse through your payment method, though you may have to pay for return shipping yourself; check with your card issuer or bank.
