Refund for purchases made with a gift card

Question

I'm just trying to find out where the funds go when a seller refunds an item that was purchased with a gift card. A partial payment was made with paypal and that refund transaction has already occurred but I cant find out where the balance will get refunded to that was paid with the gift card.

@lt250dave The portion paid with the gift card gets credited back to that gift card. The available balance should show in checkout when you make your next purchase.
