refund for Ebay fees
Hello,
How do I go about getting a refund for the Ebay fees charged when a buyer asked to cancel an order the day after purchasing. I refunded it as they requested because they were afraid it wouldn't get there before they moved but it looks like I still paid Ebay fees when I honored their request.
I found when Ebay answered the question that I should be able to request fees being refunded but can find out where.
Also, what about if an item was damaged during shipping and I refunded the buyer. Can I eligible to get Ebay fees back for that item?

Mentor2 years ago@jodjo3035.4tdrrmyyu You should have a received a refund of the FINAL VALUE fees when you canceled the sale. If you had any optional upgrade fees such as reserve price or it was a classified or eBay Motors listing then those fees are not refunded.
As long as you refunded a buyer willingly you receive a refund of the final value fees.
The only final value fees that are not refunded are if a buyer files a not as described case and eBay steps in and forces the refund. Then you get a Defect, you don't get your fees back, and the buyer may be allowed to keep the item.

Yes you can refund a buyer from the drop down menu next to the sold item if an item arrived damaged without requiring them to file a return request. However, once a request is filed by the buyer you can only refund from the request.
Did you check your all transaction page to see exactly what was refunded here>
