Refund for counterfeit gold bullion currency
I bought a 20 gram bar from “Wizardofawes3†and it came back fake from having it assayed st APMEX. They filled out official affidavit and I did a police report and they sent me the fake bar opened and cut in half but it was past the 30 day return policy. eBay will not intervene and seller won’t respond for 3 months now. This has got to be illegal. Any suggestions???

I assume you mean Apmex cut the bar in half, not the police? Did they tell you why they did that? It isn't necessary to cut into a sample to check it. Practically every precious metal dealer has one of those machines capable of nondestructive testing, that can electronically assay a specimen. I wonder if Apmex cutting the bar was the equivalent of an authority cutting a fake credit card in half.
