Refund for a returned item was not completed
I returned an item that was not an estate item. It’s a brand new ring the seller except returns. No issues that I know of or have been messaged about? I sent it back through eBay with tracking. I’ve been on eBay for over 20 years so I’m not new. My bank account showed the deposit was pending, but then I got a notice from Ebay saying there was an issue with the refund. I’ve contacted Ebay twice and nobody seems to know what’s going on. They can’t even find the message that was sent to me? I get the standard line wait for 3 to 5 days. It was already showing up in my account? I contacted my bank they tell me it was Ebay that backed out the transaction? I can’t get a hold of anyone today to resolve the situation?

Mentor2 years ago@i007antiques I recommend using social media to contact eBay customer service and ask them why the refund did not go through, that way there is not a language barrier.
The seller may have been lacking the funds as they have to front the money and then wait for the refund to you to go through before they get the frozen funds back. When that happens eBay is supposed to step in and force the refund from the seller.
Contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
