Refund for a Buyer

Question

I had a buyer request a refund and has returned the item. I want to issue the refund but will eBay also send their portion that they kept back? It's a larger priced item and eBay's cut was about $400. My portion was supposed to be $2500 but buyer is requesting the 2900 they paid.

If the return was through an official eBay return claim when you refund through the claim you will use the item's full amount but the amount you actually refund will be less the eBay fees you previously paid. eBay will add those back into the amount that is sent to the Buyer's account and you will be able to see the amounts on the refund process pages.
