Refund amount is different than what the buyer paid
I sold a receiver to a buyer. He had issues with it and wanted a full refund.
I have him the refund and ebay says all has been refunded.
But the buyer paid $1251.35 yet ebay only lets me refund $1155.45 after I did the refund the customer is asking about the rest of the $54.40 remaining amount. But ebay does not have the option for more refund because for ebay the refund I gave them of $1155.45 is all that is owed.
Is it tax? I don't get it and how can I return the remaining $54.40 to the client. He is getting really upset.
Please help!!
