Refund
I requested ebay to step in since the item received was not in any way what was pictured and described. I sent the item back with ebay mailing label. I tracked as being placed in their mail box. The case is showing closed but no refund was issued by anyone. It seems impossible top contact ebay on this issue.
Any thoughts?

Mentor3 years agoDid you ask ebay to step in four days after tracking showed the item delivered to the seller? How many days has it been since item was delivered to seller?

When did you open the Return Request?
Did you use the return label ebay sent you before the deadline?
Did you get any confirmation a refund was made?
Go to the Resolution Center and check the status again.

If it is still open, go to it and you will see the option to ask ebay to step in, if seller has not refunded.

OP3 years agoOpened a return request 16 August.
Used Ebay label
Mailed on the 23
Tracking shows delivered to address on mailing label at 9:07 am 25 August.
Deadline from Ebay was 5 September.
Email said a refund would be submitted when package arrived at destination.
I waited for the refund.
None came.

OP3 years agoThis is the email ebay sent after I opened a case since there was no response from the seller.
You need to send the item back to the seller by Sep 05, 2023 to receive this refund. You can either print the label on eBay or use your own label. If you use your own label, you may not be reimbursed for return shipping. The seller's shipping address and shipping instructions are available on the case details page. Please don't forget to enter the tracking information there. We'll issue you a refund once tracking details confirm that the item has been delivered to the seller.
I complied and waited for the refund. It says they will issue a refund.

Mentor3 years agoIf you received notice they are issuing a refund then you should be fine. If you used a credit/debit card it can take extra days or weeks to show on your statement depending on your card company's processing time. Call your card company and see if a credit is pending or what their processing time is.
