Hello! I received an item on 4/22 but had to return it due to sizing. I mailed it via USPS on 4/24. I waited for the refund to show up in my account but it never did so on 5/7 the seller reached out and said he hadn't received the item yet and he hoped I understood and could be patient and cooperate with him and he'd issue the refund as soon as the item arrived. So I waited. eBay sent me a notification on the 7th also saying they noticed I hadn't been refunded yet and if I wanted them to step in, I had until the 22nd to request their help. I didn't respond because I was trying to see if the item would show up at the seller's, therefore not needing Ebay's assistance. I reached out again to the seller on the 22nd and asked if he'd received the return item. He didn't reply until the 24th by saying Ebay already closed the return. He didn't say anything about receiving the returned item so I checked the tracking # which said it hadn't been delivered yet. NOW WHAT? The seller hasn't received the item back and I haven't reached out to Ebay to see if they'd intervene since their cut off for assistance was the 22nd. I didn't reach out to them before that because I was trying to give the seller some time to receive the item in order to refund me. What do I do now? USPS says its still in transit.
