Refund
So I had a guitar posted on eBay for 1500 dollars I went to guam cause I'm in the military when I came home I found out the guitar sold but my wife had already sold it to somebody and not on eBay. So I tell the guy the guitar already sold so I will give him a refund.... When he paid they put about 1600 bucks in my acct but said it was on hold until April 14 or something so I have no access to the money obviously till the 14 of April. Okay fine and dandy.. so I go to give the guy a refund and my acct says that the refund will be 1600 dollars... So that's fine cause that's how much he paid.. BUT!!!! apparently eBay is saying I had a previous sale that I owed four hundred dollars for.. so they took the 400 dollars of this guys money that was supposedly on hold 1600 they took 400 of it out of the guys money that was on hold and paid my other sales fee and now when I try to refund the guitar guys money it says I only have 1200 dollars in my acct and that I need to set up a new payment card to refund this guys money.. but I didn't have that kind of money just laying around. So basically ebay stole this guys money out of my acct somehow without my permission and now this guys is getting ripped off for his money and on paper it looks like I'm to blame but I'm not what are my next steps to getting this guys refund back to him of the whole ammt
