Refund
In December I purchased a hairdryer on Ebay. Initially it worked ok but almost immediately the motor began to cut out. Only occasionally initially (which is why I didn’t return immediately), but increased in frequency and now does not run at all. After several unsatisfactory attempts working with the seller I spoke with Mary at Ebay customer service. She said that since we are past 30 days since delivery that the seller, no longer has an option to refund me. Mary directed me to submit a suspicious seller report against seller, which I did, which, per Mary, allowed seller to send me a return label and then refund me. I informed seller and now, two and a half weeks later I am not hearing anything from either the seller OR Ebay customer service.
Do I have any options left or am I left holding the bag for a $200+ hairdryer?? Thanks.

Mentor5 months ago@sgriffith6. Just wanted to clarify that what the agent "Mary" said is not correct.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee is 30 days from the date of delivery. eBay can't FORCE a seller to refund you past that date.
A seller can issue a refund IF they choose to do so up to 90 days from the date of purchase but they are not required to.
Reporting the seller for "Suspicious activity " just goes on the sellers account and can show a pattern of poor performance.
It has nothing to do with a refund.
Agents often say what a member wants to hear so they will get a good rating.
Follow @disneyshopper 's excellent correct advice and file a chargeback with your funding source. If you win the chargeback the seller is also charged a $20 dispute fee which they have earned IMHO.
