Refund
I had a customer request a refund because the item was not received. The tracking does not show delivery.
I contacted the Post Office and they said it would be returned to me if not delivered. I contacted buyer and Ebay and waited--thinking I would receive item back. Nothing came back. Ebay contacted me and stated that if I did nothing they would step in and it may have future impact on my account. I issued a refund to avoid further problems. Since I still had not received the item back I checked the tracking again and find that it is at the buyers post office being held at the customers request. I lost my money and my item--is there anything I can do?

Mentor8 months agoIf the tracking now shows that the item is being held for the buyer and you purchased the label through eBay you can contact customer service and ask them to refund the amount that you have refunded the buyer. This policy went into effect last October.
You can contact customer service using this link and ask for a call back: eBay Customer Service Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time. Unfortunately you will still need to answer the AI bot questions in order to get help. eBay removed our way to get around the questions so you may need to ask for “Agent†several times before the system gets the message and lets you ask for the call back.
