Refund
my son accidentally made an offer on an item and the seller accepted the offer and ebay did an automatic deduction on my credit card i cancelled the order and the seller rejected the cancellation claiming that my card was charged GPB53 and he recieved GPB41 so he cant accept the refund because ebay wants to charge him extra and he has alot of bad reviews so in such a case how to i go about tried contacting an agent and they cant reach me please your advice or assitance will be highly appreciated

First, there are no accidental offers, so face up to the reality of what your son did. How old is he, by the way, and why does he have authority to charge your credit card? Regarding the purchase, GB£53 is about US$73, so this is not a life-changing event. I think you should honor the transaction which is, after all, your responsibility, and make the son pay you back.

Mentor7 months agoThere really is no way to accidentally make an offer as it is a multi-step procedure. Plus your son would have seen the warning that your card would be automatically charged if the offer was accepted.
