refund
Good morning. I would like you to help me with a problem. I cancelled a product and I haven't received the refund. I spoke to the seller and he told me that he did it and that I have to contact eBay directly. It's been more than eight days since this cancellation was made.

Just a little additional information so you might better understand the process.
Buyers can not cancel a transaction. They can request a cancellation, but only the seller can actually process the cancellation.
When a seller processes the cancellation, a refund is created for the buyer for the full amount the buyer paid. The buyer then gets an email from Ebay that tells them about the refund, how much it was and about how long it takes to process it. So you may want to locate that email and review it. Maybe it is in your junk folder.
Sellers have no control over the actual refund of your money. That goes through the banking system. This can take a couple of weeks or more to show on your Credit Card or whatever your payment source was.

Here’s what you can do to check the status of your refund:
Check your Purchase History
Go to: https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase
– Find the canceled item and click View order details. You should see the refund status listed there.
Review your transaction summary
Visit: https://www.ebay.com/mes/transactionlist?sh=true
– This page shows all your payment activity, including any refunds issued.
Where the money goes
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method (PayPal, credit card, etc.) It can take up to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
