Rediculous EBAY decision
Bought item 12/7/25 said latest delivery 1/4/26 a long time, but ok as the birthday wasn't till 1/8/26
Item not even sent by 1/9/26 so I asked for refund... can see in tracking not sent
Apparently, Seller sent anyway 1/11/26 and received 1/15/26 all way past last delivery date!!!
Asked for return label and full refund 1/15/26
no response from seller
See on return page, seller has a KASHMIR (out of country address), but sent it from Delaware.
Sent another message for Return Label 1/29/26
Finally 2/3/26 Seller sent an EBAY message saying he would refund and a Return Label addressed to Indiana was in the message.
Same day 2/3/26 I sent package w/Return Label, which Seller got 4 days later.
Seller didn't want to refund and somehow dealt with EBAY and I got a "you lose case"
I appealed and again it said "you lose case as the Return went to different address then on EBAY"
What?? I explained it all in the appeal. How Seller must have put in Kasmir address in returns, knowing it was cost prohibitive to send it back. Even tho it should never have been sent a week after it was due, and several days after I requested a refund. !!!!
So, Seller gets to send something whenever they want, and sends me a Return Label to a different address THROUGH EBAY MESSAGING.... AND MUST HAVE KNOWN that they get to KEEP THE ITEM AND MY MONEY!
AND THE Bots or whatever can't even read what in very easy to read chronology.... as after sending alot of info and the full shipping from both Seller and Buyer, (which was many lines), Ebay again asked for shipping info.
The Seller knows how to scam the system, that's for sure. Has about 50 feedback.
OR Ebay can't follow information that is stated in appeal and also clearly found on their Seller messaging page.

Call your credit card issuer and open a dispute for a return with no refund. As long as you can show that the seller gave you the address that you sent it to, they won’t care if it was through the return request or not.
A few things to consider in the future -
- late arrival makes an item not as described, so the seller has to pay the return shipping. An international seller has to send you the money to pay the shipping. But - you must select ‘doesn’t match description’ as the reason for return.
- if the item was advertised as shipping from the US, the seller must provide a US return address.
- you should only accept a return address or label sent through your return request.
In all of these situations, you can use the ‘ask us to step in’ option in your return to get help before sending the return or paying out of pocket. If that option does not appear, you can ask customer service to call you and review the issue.
